About Us
Hello my name is John Belk, with the help of my wife Paula we are the proud owners of Turfs Up. We started Turfs Up in 1993 by stitching together seat covers by hand. I made my first seat cover at the age of 14 for my first motorcycle and watched with Paula’s help our business grow to what it is today. I enjoy the sport of Motocross and still race the 50+ at many local races. I grew up working for close to twenty years in the aircraft industry and was fortunate enough to do custom interiors in private jets for the likes of Barron Von Hilton, James Brown, John Grisham, and even Elvis’s Lisa Marie’s jet before it went on display at Grace land.
In addition to seat covers we now manufacture the best real sub printed numbers and stickers in the Motocross industry. All of our stickers and numbers are non digitized and we also have a new style gripper seat cover.

We have been fortunate enough to have great success in our amateur program by helping out many of our local and national pros with the likes of Trey Canard, Tommy and Will Hahn, Cory Green and more. We have a long list of local amateur riders such as Justin Bogle, Colt Nickels, Derek Ledbetter and Casteil Clark. You can see our name on many bikes in the mid west area.
We are located in Okemah Oklahoma which is 45 minutes from downtown Oklahoma City.
